How we handle your details
The information you provide is used only for the request you choose to make.
Event update requests
Leaving an email address on the updates page records an explicit request to hear when new events are added. Your name and brand or organisation name are optional. The time of your request, consent version and exact wording shown to you are kept with that record.
We send a confirmation email first. Your address is only added to the list once you open the link in that email, and it can only be used once. Creating an account does not add you to the updates list.
Every update email includes a personal removal link, and account security emails are never affected by removing yourself from updates. If you already have a removal code, you can use the stop event updates page.
Event requests
An event title, official page and any relevance note are sent to administrators for editorial review. Nothing submitted through the form is published automatically.
A visitor may optionally leave a name and email address. Those details are used only to acknowledge the suggestion and if an editor needs to ask about the event; they do not create an account or request event updates.
Accounts and saved events
Browsing and browser-only saving do not need an account. A free account is optional and keeps saved events with your account so they are available across devices.
Account registration is separate from event update requests. Registering never subscribes you to updates.
